MEET COACH FOLA

I am Adefolashade, a Teen Development Expert, Parent Educator, and Strategist, with over 15 years of enriching experience within the teenage ecosystem.

My journey encompasses various roles and certifications, including being a US Certified Girl Empowerment Coach, a CBT Therapist, and an NLP Practitioner. I proudly serve as a Mentor for the Youth Mentor Training and as a member of the Faculty of 'Shine From Within' Australia. Additionally, I am a member of the Women Empowering Girls Network (WEGN) in Dallas, Texas, USA, and hold certification in Youth First Aid Mental Health USA. I am also certified to teach the "Girl Meets World curriculum" of the Girl Leadership USA, taught at the Oprah Winfrey Leadership Academy for Girls, South Africa.

Founding the Brighter Girls Life Initiative and serving as the Managing Partner of ADF Coaching and Consulting, I am committed to empowering busy parents to transition from feeling overwhelmed, guilty, and disconnected to becoming present, active, and connected with their teenagers. My tailored strategies and tools enable parents to pursue their dreams without leaving their children behind.

I collaborate with organizations dedicated to nurturing teenagers, including schools, non-profits, and religious organizations. My work revolves around creating systems and safe spaces where teens can cultivate values and relevant skills, including life skills, to prepare them for a fulfilling life ahead.

I firmly believe in the unique potential of every teenager and the importance of the teen years as practice years for adulthood. By equipping teens with the tools they need today, they can lead fulfilling lives as adults. Parents play a crucial role in this journey; it's essential to 'meet your children' and create a customized path to raise and nurture them. My mission is to assist parents in achieving this.

In my perspective, everything transformative happens in a safe space. Every child and teenager deserves that environment to reach their fullest potential and dreams. Let's work together to create that space and empower our youth for a brighter future.
